ASSESSMENT SUMMARY

Basins are a simple way of grouping watersheds together based upon the water’s destination. Most of the the water in Tennessee empties into the Cumberland, Mississippi or Tennessee Rivers. A small amount of the water also empties into the Barren River in Kentucky or the Conasauga River in Georgia.
