Kingston Refuge WMA Dove Field 

Crops planted: 60 acres of sown wheat.  

Hunt Dates: September 1 and 3 only (noon to sunset only). NOTE: Access by boat only.  Nontoxic shot is required for hunting doves. No dove hunters are allowed on the refuge prior to 60 minutes before legal shooting time.  Public use, including all forms of trespass is prohibited from Oct. 15 - February 1.

Directions: Kingston Refuge is by boat access only. From I-40. take the Kingston Exit (Hwy. 58S), turn left off the exit going North away from Kingston; pass the shopping center; go through the stop sign and the Ladd Landing Boat Ramp will be on your left; the Refuge is down river and to the right; there is a slough where the boat can be docked. A WMA Small Game Permit required.
