served on the board of directors as president, vice-president,
secretary, and treasurer. He is a member of the Scenic Rivers
Commission, is on the board of directors of the Tennessee
Conservation League Foundation, has served on the Bordeaux-Whites
Creek Greenways Alliance, the Governor's Council of Greenways and
Trails, and the board of Greenways for Nashville. He attended
Tuskegee Institute, the University of Tennessee-Nashville and
Tennessee State University, with studies in commercial dietetics,
accounting, real estate, and real estate law. He served as an
Economic Development Representative for the U. S. Department of
Commerce.

fisherman all his life. He enjoys hunting small game which he began
with his grandfather and has continued. He has two sons who are avid
outdoorsmen. He served as a police officer in Greeneville prior to
