Bridgestone/Firestone WMA Dove Field 

Crops planted : 30 acres in wheat.

Hunt dates: Young Sportsman Only dove hunt : September 1 (noon to sunset).  Each young sportsman must be accompanied by a non-hunting adult.
Will open September 3 through the remainder of the statewide season for all hunters. 

Directions: I-40, take the Sparta-Cookeville Exit (Exit #287/Hwy. 136) and go south approximately 2 miles and connect with Hwy. 111S. Go south on Hwy. 111 to the Sparta-Smithville Exit (Hwy. 70) which is just past McDonalds and Wal-Mart; Turn left (east) onto Hwy. 70, go through Sparta, past the Courthouse and up the plateau past the Rock House Historic Site and Scenic Overlook; About one mile past the Bondecroft School turn right onto Eastland Road at Bondecroft Headstart Village; go 6.5 miles past Scotts Gulf Road. (map)
