AEDC WMA Dove Fields

2 fields (75 acres - total)

(FIELD 1 - 50 acres - Craddock Field)

Crops planted : Sunflowers/German and white proso millet/wheat. 
 
Hunt Dates: September 1 (noon - sunset), Open with the statewide seasons, except closed on deer hunt days. Dove hunting from designated fields only during the first segment of the dove season.  

A WMA Small Game Permit is required.

Directions: (Coffee/Franklin counties) From Nashville, take I-24 east to the Arnold Air Force Station exit (#117). Turn right. Take Wattendorf Highway until you come to Rifle Range Road. Go 0.3 of a mile pass Rifle Range Road on Wattendorf and turn left onto the side road. There will be a sign saying dove field this way. There will be signs from this point on directing you where to turn to reach the dove field. At the dove field, there will be signs directing you to the designated parking areas. It is very important that you park in these areas only. 


(FIELD 2 - 25 acres)

Crops planted : Sunflowers/millet/wheat.  

Hunt Dates: September 1 (noon - sunset), Open with the statewide seasons, except closed on deer hunt days. Dove hunting from designated fields only during the first segment of the dove season.  

A WMA Small Game Permit is required.

Directions: (Coffee/Franklin counties) From Nashville, take I-24 east to the Arnold Air Force Station exit (#117). Turn right. Turn left on Winchester Road and then turn right on Brick Church Road. Turn left onto the Checking Station Road. From the Hunter Checking Station follow the signs to the field.
