This section is intended to assist local government operations locate services available through TDEC Partners
- University of Tennessee Center for Industrial Services (C.I.S.): Provides waste stream audits for Tennessee industry when requested. CIS manages the Tennessee Materials Exchange (TME) and the Recycling Market Directory (RMD).
- University of Tennessee County Technical Assistance Service (CTAS): CTAS provides GIS mapping, grant narrative preparation, report preparation and general assistance in solid waste management.
- University of Tennessee Tennessee Solid Waste Education Program (TnSWEP): Provides educational programs to counties that request their service.
- Development Districts: There are nine development districts that assist the solid waste regions through needs assessments, grant writing, reporting and other planning related needs. They are listed and linked below.

- Recycling Marketing Cooperative for Tennessee, Inc.: RMCT is a non-profit broker for recyclable material. RMCT markets recyclable materials for cities, counties, and businesses in Tennessee.
- Environmental Field Offices- While the nine Environmental Field Offices are not "partners" with TDEC, they are apart of TDEC, they provide an important function in assisting the solid waste regions of Tennessee coordinate their solid waste administrative needs.
- Tennessee Recycling Coalition - The Tennessee Recycling Coalition (TRC) is a non-profit organization formed in 1990 as a partnership of individuals, businesses, civic groups and government agencies, looking for solutions to waste problems in the state.
- National Recycling Coalition - The National Recycling Coalition, Inc. (NRC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization representing all the diverse interests committed to the common goal of maximizing recycling to achieve the benefits of resource conservation, solid waste reduction, environmental protection, energy conservation and social and economic development.
