Cabins

The 17 cabins at Natchez Trace are nestled among tall trees on beautiful Cub Lake, while the 10 villas are situated on Pin Oak Lake. The public beach and day-use area are located just across an arm of the lake and are accessible via a rustic footbridge.

Cabins
17 cabins can accommodate up to four people and are completely equipped for housekeeping, food preparation and serving. Each cabin has a grill and picnic table. They are air-conditioned, have fireplaces and all linens are provided. Cabins are popular, so advance reservations are a must. Reservations are handled by the Pin Oak Lodge.

Villas
Natchez Trace has 10 Villas situated on Pin Oak Lake. Each one is a 2-story cabin and can accommodate 6 people comfortably. Each villa has 3 queen-size beds, located as follows: the downstairs bedroom contains 2 beds along with a bath and the upstairs bedroom has 1 bed with access to a bath. Also on the upstairs level is a fully equipped kitchen with pots, pans, and utensils to serve 6 people. There is a spacious living room with cable TV and a gas fireplace. On the balcony (overlooking the lake) is a gas grill with table and chairs. Every 2 villas share a boat dock. All towels and linens are provided.

All cabins and villas are fully equipped for housekeeping with linens, cooking and serving utensils, appliances and microwave. Cabins and villas have a minimum two-night stay requirement, except during the summer when they are rented weekly.

The group camp and at least one Villa and one Cub Lake cabin are accessible to persons with a disability.

Camping

The park has 208 campsites and five camping cabins in three different areas. All sites have tables, grills, water, and electricity and are served by four bathhouses.

Pin Oak RV Campground ? 77 sites, 2 bathhouses, 50 amp electric, sewer and water hookups. Pin Oak R.V. campground is located on the shore of Pin Oak Lake and can accommodate RVs up to 80 feet in length. The RV camp also offers a swimming beach, playground, picnic shelter, camping cabins and boat dock.

Camping Cabins ? Camping cabins may be reserved through Pin Oak Lodge. All have air conditioning. There are five camping cabins, open year around.

#1 Campground ? 23 sites, 1 bathhouse, 20 and 30 amp electric, dump station, water at all sites, 25 ft. and under size restriction, open year around.

#2 Campground ? 46 sites, 1 bathhouse, primarily primitive with water at all sites, 20 amp electric at 8 sites, dump station, 20 ft. and under, open May ? Oct.

Pets allowed. Reservations cannot be accepted and stay is limited to two-weeks.

Laundry
Open 24/7. Located in R.V. camp and 5 Points group camp.

Camp Store
A park store with gas pump, offering a wide variety of groceries including canned goods, ice, and picnic, camping supplies, fishing equipment and bait, are located a short distance from the campgrounds.

Backcountry Camping
Backcountry camping is allowed although a permit is required. There are four backcountry campsites and up to 35 people may camp at any one site. Pets on leashes are allowed, pack animals are not.

Wrangler Camp
Natchez Trace Wrangler Camp is located 2.2 miles south of I-40 on Hwy. 114. The Bucksnort Wrangler Camp features 62 campsites with full hook-ups, one camping cabin, two bathhouses and a dump station. All electrical hook-ups are 50 amps. Each site has a picnic table, ground grill, pedestal grill, lantern holder, water and hitching rail. There are 250 miles of riding trails in the park and forest. The campground is open year round. Campsites are first come, first served. Campers are requested to leave site clear of horse waste. No alcohol is allowed and pets must be kept on a leash. Quiet time is at 10 pm.

Group Lodge

Natchez Trace group lodge consists of 4 cottages and one bunkhouse, an administration building/dining hall and wash house. There's 1,211 square feet of meeting space and the combined lodge facility can accommodate 64 adults comfortably. Each cottage at the group lodge facility has two full bathrooms, a full kitchen and a living room area. All sleeping arrangements are bunk beds. The administration building has an industrial kitchen and four break away rooms. The kitchen facility is equipped with a stove, grill, oven, reach-in freezer, reach-in cooler, ice maker, all of which are commercial grade. All utensils, glassware and dishes are furnished.

Guests should provide their own linens, food and personal toiletries. Laundry facilities are available. It is available year round, reservations up to two years in advance.

The group camp and at least one Villa and one Cub Lake cabin are accessible to persons with a disability.

Park Inn

Picturesque Pin Oak Lodge is situated on the wooded shores of Pin Oak Lake. This 47-unit facility provides singles, doubles, and suite accommodations. Half of the rooms face Pin Oak Lake the other half face the out-door pool. All of the rooms have cable TV, phone, coffee maker, blow dryer, and bath w/ shower/tub, table and chairs. Two of the rooms w/ one bed are fully handicap accessible.

Support facilities include a playground, tennis courts, and adult and children?s swimming pools. Private meeting, dining rooms and a new conference center are available. The inn also provides a free continental breakfast daily.

Gift Shop
Open year round. Gift shop is located at the park inn. Sweatshirts/t-shirts, toiletry items, books and lots of items specific to TN State Parks and Natchez Trace State Park are available.
